Whoa... it's been awhile since I last posted some great job opportunities here. It's not that I have been lazy or anything, it's because the holiday season is here. Usually, the merry months of September to December are the time of the year where there are less job opportunities being offered. Do you want to know why?
Different companies usually have their year-end inventories starting September up to December. This would mean that their office is preparing and organizing their records for the past year. From the accounting department, to sales, to human resource, up to the employees and the maintenance, all of them are preparing records such as financial reports and statuses, work tickets, supplies, year-end sales, etc. This would mean that the different personnels involved in each department is busy doing their respective jobs.
Another possibility why some companies refused to post new job postings is that they DO NOT want their tax records for their employees to be in a some sort of record clutter. Tax records usually starts in January. If someone was employed during the Christmas season especially in December, which is the last month of the year, it is hard for the company he/she is now employed in to compute his/her tax cut and of course the 13th month pay!
So if you want to be employed at the start of a new year, you better job hunt after Christmas so that by the start of the new, you can now enjoy your new job! Happy Holidays and have a great job hunting season next year!
